Established in 1965 and registered under the Registrar of Societies Act, 1981 in New Delhi, the Press Association stands as the premier organization representing accredited media professionals in India.

Our Evolution

What began as an association exclusively for Government of India accredited correspondents in Delhi has evolved with the media landscape. Today, we proudly represent journalists across all media platforms – print, television, electronic, and digital – who are accredited by the Government of India.

Our Role
